2008 RESOLUTIONS
2008 RESOLUTIONS 111 Resolution to Participate in a Feasibility Study to Examine Joining a South Jersey Health Insurance Fund. Joe - explained a little about it and that it hopefully will help lower the cost of insurance. 112 Chapter 159 - Department of Law and Public Safety, Click-It or Ticket-It. 113 Authorizing the Release of Security Deposit for 8 E. Nevada Ave. Street Opening Permit. 114 Resolution Granting a 50-50 License to the Charles F. Hammell American Legion Post for Concerts in the Park 2008. 115 Resolution to Appoint a Part Time Deputy Court Administrator- Deanna Jackson. Lynn - explained why the new hire and she has court experience 116 Authorizing the City of Absecon to award the Contract for the 2008 Road Improvement Program. Fred - explained 117 Appointing two part-time Tele-communicators, namely James Fogle and Kyle Vasinda.

REPORTS
Mayor - thanked all the services during this last storm we had.
Joe - already announced his report earlier
Fred - walked the streets for the road program and made some changes and we should start soon. 4th Avenue should look really nice when done.
Charlie - no report
Bill - agreed with the Mayor and the good job during the storm that all did.
Bobbie - announced upcoming events in area
Lynn - the bubbles in the lake are aerators - it's not a fountain. Asked Jess about the municipal aid information that has been in paper.
Jess - has not received anything yet.
Terry - we may see some spraying tomorrow morning if conditions are right. On behalf of all the staff and departments and employees at City Hall, we will miss our good friend as well. Ben was a great colleague and public servant and a joy to work with.

CLOSED SESSION #118-2008
Attorney Mike Blee - announced the reasons as:
1. Negotiations with Mainland PBA Local 77
2. Chief of Police contract
Those minutes can be released perhaps only by court order or when all documents are executed but because of the on-going relationship with both entities and individuals, it is probably only through court order.
Motion to enter closed session - Councilman Wilson - second - Councilman Green

Mike Blee - It's now 8:55 p.m. and issues discussed were those announced earlier.
